Rudel's STUKA
The most famous pilot of Ju-87 was Hans Ulrich Rudel. During the campigns on the Eastern Front he made 2530 combat flights and destroyed: 1 battleship, 518 tanks and many other equipment. It was Rudel who invented the Ju-87 aircraft with 3.7 cm guns and developed the tactics for their use. The model shows the aeroplane on which Rudel escaped from Prague to the territories occupied by the Western Allies on May 8, 1945.
